Married 2 The Badge is the fiscal sponsor of the National Police Support Association Jamaica (NPSA Jamaica) and is considered an affiliate of the organization.
The NPSA Jamaica is based in the United States, but focuses on the men and women of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) and their families. By collaborating with the JCF we are able to make the most impact with each project.
The NPSAJ is led by a cross-country leadership team in Jamaica and the US. The National Police Support Association Jamaica (NPSAJ) has four core areas that will guide its work: mental health awareness and education, peer Support, morale & recognition, and community Service.
Being the hands and feet of Jesus always looks different. It might be scary, but we know we are not alone. As the Chaplain and leader of M2B, Kerry-Ann thought this would be a fantastic way to contribute to the spiritual growth of the wives of Police Officers in Jamaica. Behind the scenes, they have already begun providing Peer Support and Chaplaincy services.
The first affiliate of NPSA Jamaica has been established in the Parish of Westmoreland with the long-term goal of establishing an affiliation in every Parish.
US base team members will travel to Jamaica for a Mission-In-Action trip annually.
The goal of the trip is simple:
1. Celebrate the JCF officers.
2. Celebrate the life of those who have passed regardless of how they died.
3. Build bridges between the community, police, and clergies.
4. Train and equip the NPSA Jamaica leaders located in Jamaica to continue the mission and form more affiliates in the other parishes.
5. Eventually, develop a Police Week of events similar to what we have in the US by partnering with the Jamaica Constable Force.

During the week of October 21-27, 2024, NPSA Jamaica will host and attend events honoring the men and women of the Jamaica Constabulary Force. The US team members will also present items collected through the Adopt-A-Station Project. Some activities will be open to the public.
WALK-A-MILE IN THEIR SHOES
is a one-mile walk in honor and memory of those who have passed away (regardless of the reason). It is also intended to bring awareness to the issues that affect the mental health of the officers and their families. This will be held on the morning of Saturday, October 26th.
CHURCH SERVICE
A church service will be held to honor those who have passed and pray over the families of the officers currently serving.
Location will be shared closer to the date!
During the launch of NPSAJ in October 2023, the leadership team toured all ten precincts in the parish of Westmoreland.
While there, we learned that most JCF officers are not stationed close to home and must either maintain two households or stay at the barracks at their assigned station while on duty. The barracks are not in the best living conditions, and some are deplorable. As a result, we have launched the Adopt-A-Station Jamaica project.
Our goal is to replace all the mattresses and provide bed linens, bath rags, towel sets, and pillows for the officers stationed at all ten precincts.
We are seeking stations in the US that are willing to Adopt-A-Station in Westmoreland, Jamaica.
Please email us at npsaj@married2thebadge.com for more information or to express interest in adopting a station.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
